Louis Vuitton Arc En Ciel Candy Umbrella

09.07.12-santorini-Louis Vuitton Arc En Ciel Candy Umbrella I believe that every girl hopes that she owns a beautiful umbrella. I still remember when I was a girl, I had a cute red umbrella. I loved it so much. No matter raining or sunshine, indoors or outdoors, I would like to hold it. I feel like the noble lady that painted in the Middle Ages, elegant and exquisite.

From that time, I am mad on the umbrella. When I saw Louis Vuitton Arc En Ciel Candy Umbrella, I know it is the kind belongs to me. It is full of childhood. Its jacquard Monogram canvas and colorful Monogram pattern are distinctive and casual. It reminds me of juicy candy and bright candy paper. The designer of Arc En Ciel Candy Umbrella must know the sweet dream in every child's heart- one day, there are countless candies fall from the sky. We hold the white umbrella to pick up the candies. They fall to the white canvas and become the colorful pattern now.

Louis Vuitton Cigar Humidor 75

Here is another fine present for all the cigar lovers. Unlike the one I have introduced before, it is relatively small, having a cigar store capacity of 75 at just the right humidity.

This Louis Vuitton Cigar Humidor is created in Mahogany with elegant Macassar ebony veneer finish and a pear wood Monogram inlay, which offer the best guarantee for maintaining the high quality of your cigar. Its cedar lining is designed to absorb humidity, working together with its credo humidification system and hygrometer. All in all, it is really sound cigar humidor.

To tell the truth, I am self never smoke, and I won't smoke in the future. For I heard the other day that cigar, however fine it is, will harm your health. Of course, the finer one will do less harm to your body. Therefore, due to certain reason, you can not quit the habit, and then you need some good items to reduce its harm to the minimum. This cigar humidor is a fine example.

New Louis VUITTON Card Deck Set

Actually, I have no idea what my true feeling toward the new Louis VUITTON Card Deck Set. Yes, I called it new that is because there was an old set before. After a close observation of the two version, I think that the Louis VUITTON Design House is not creatively at all, and what it good at is to subtly change its products' colors and emblems and then call them new. What a large despair it is to those LV fans that have been waiting for its new season products for a long time.

Louis VUITTON Card Deck, Louis VUITTON Accessories, M65460
As you may have noticed in the above picture, the only different of the two images are only the colors and emblems. That is all the Louis VUITTON about. This is a box of three sets of card decks in red, yellow and blue respectively, and each set has 54 cards. It is to call for people to pass the time in style with the card. But in this downturn of economy, who would be as so silly to spend hundreds of dollars on it, I wonder? How do you think?

Gas Masks from Diddo Velema, Gucci and Louis Vuitton

09.05.23-Tracy-Gas Masks from Diddo Velema, Gucci and Louis Vuitton 01.jpg

Although we are living in a harmonious society, in western world the rich people still worry about their safety due to the terrorist incidents while the growing pollutants and harmful toxins threaten their life. Maybe for this reason, Diddo Velema in collaboration with Gucci and Louis Vuitton released three novelty masks. These jewel encrusted, monogram basted pieces will assure the survival of the richest the day some incidents happen.

After the birth of the masks, many people hold the opinion above that they are products for the safety of rich people. However, Velema explains the concept thusly "We are in a state of perpetual war--with ourselves and with the eco-system that sustains us. Perpetual war breeds perpetual fear. In the present context, this fear stems from our extreme desire for authenticity and manifests itself in our collectively insatiable culture of consumption. Deep down, we are afraid we may never be satisfied. An expanding archive of branded myths and icons feeds this fear. Designer Gas Masks is an attempt to visualize this state of mind. Because it is only by first acknowledging and then challenging fear that we will all be able to breathe a little easier." I do hope the gas marks will evoke people's environmental consciousness. Based on the significant influence of the famous fashion houses, more and more people will join the ranks of environmental protection.

Louis Vuitton & Takashi Murakami Design QR Code

You may be not very clear about the QR codes. It's widespread in Japan. A QR (Quick Response) Code is a matrix code created by Japanese corporation Denso-Wave in 1994, as the creator intended the code to allow its contents to be decoded at high speed. It can be seen everywhere in Japan, such as advertisements on the streets, trains, magazines and any possible location for a printed medium. Served as the real world hyperlinks, most Japanese camera cell phones can read the code and link you to the relevant websites. Although it is convenient, its black & white appearance is not very pleasing. Here is definitely a level-up of the old standard.

The creative agency SET teamed up Takashi Murakami with Louis Vuitton to release a new code. The code features colorful colors with Louis Vuitton classic pattern of monogram and quatrefoil. A lovely little bear stands on the code. The whole design gives us a strong visual impression and full of vibrancy. Louis Vuitton with its long time collaborator Takashi Murakami always creates miracles for fashion world. There is no exception this time. This vivid QR code will add much style and color for the bland world of machine readable codes.

Seventy Thousands Euro for a Louis Vuitton Tattooed Pig

Recently, some luxury fashion design houses eager to benefit from certain animals. After the debut of Gucci dog waistcoat and Hermes cat hat, there comes the pig. The Belgian artist Wim Delvoye, who has been tattooing pigs since the 1990s, set up a tattooed pig project in the Art Farm in China.

090428-spring-august-seventy-thousands-euro-for-a-louis-vuitton-tattooed-pig

Among the eight tattooed pigs on his exhibition, two are engraved with Louis Vuitton Monogram. Although the pigs enjoy a high treatment, being purchased insurance and applied thick sun cream, not to mention their special food, they are to pay for all these finally, in time they will be flayed for sell. And the price is shockingly high-seventy thousands euro each piece.

As I see it, it is really absurd. Art as it may be, I can't agree that it neglect publicly the strictures regarding animal welfare. How could they do this while crying for human right? Hopefully fashioners will refuse to purchase this kind of fashion products.

Luxury Design House and Pet

Would you ever consider choosing a pearl or silver necklace for your pet? What about the pet clothes with hefty price tag? Absurd may this seemed to the ordinary people, but it is never so to many pet owners. It is amazing that the growth in the pet industry has gone through the roof. Take US as an example; Americans spent nearly $38 billion last year on pet products and services, an increase of $2 billion over the amount in 2005. In UK spending on pets increased 30% from 2000 to 2006. And the sizable spending on pets is not peculiar to North America and Europe. In Japan, skyrocket pet ownership saw $8.6 billion spent in 2005. China Taiwan residents spend nearly $600 million a year on their pets.

090403-spring-august-luxury-design-house-and-pet-02 090403-spring-august-luxury-design-house-and-pet-01

One may wonder why this was happening. The answer is obvious. In US, the baby-boomers are facing "empty nest" syndrome; in other places, the only-child fells lonely and need companies; many DINK turn their pampering affections to their pets. Thus they spared no effort and expense to keep their animals healthy, happy and comfortable. For some people, it is extravagant to spend so much on pets, but for others it is money worth. After all, pets are family members, too.

Seeing such profitable pet industry, no wander these luxury design houses like Chanel, Gucci and LV are outsourcing to pet accessory.
